I wrote this for my niece while I was putting her down to sleep for her nap
Naptime Prayer
Thank you dear kind Lord
For the morning that passed
Please bless and watch over me
As I lay down for my nap
Help me close my little eyes
And fall asleep real soon
Keep me safe as I rest
During this hour of noon
I am an Early Childhood Educator. I teach infants 9 months to 16 months. I have been trying to think/find a prayer to say over them before nap and this is perfect. I would love to use it if that is okay.
